Position Summary:
The rigging foreman position is responsible for all rigging activities that take placeÂ
on assigned job site.Â
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all job site management activities of the rigging crew.Â
• Develops, plans and implements crew and alignment with customer andÂ
salesmen with direction of job.Â
• Directs workforce to meet operational goals in terms of volume, cost, quality,Â
safety and schedule.Â
• Directly supervises and works with one or more machinery moving crews.
• Hands on supervisory role with the ability to effectively move machineryÂ
utilizing forklifts, skates and jacks (not cranes).
• Develop, train and instruct machinery moving crews in best known riggingÂ
operation practices and procedures including safety.
• Work closely with safety personnel in coordinating safety training, accidentÂ
and injury investigations and reporting and equipment or property damageÂ
incidents investigations and reporting.
• Build customer and employee relationships with excellent interpersonal andÂ
communication skills.
• Develop highly effective relationships with customers, business partners,Â
crating operations management and support staff.
• Effectively manage job site projects by organizing all project information toÂ
ensure they are accurate and contain all necessary information.Â
• Consistently demonstrates professional conduct representative of MEIÂ
corporate mission, vision and values.Â
• Must be able to drive to customer job sites and work and direct all activates onÂ
customer job sites.

Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education):
• HS diploma or equivalent necessary.
• Minimum ten (10) years proven machinery moving foreman experience orÂ
comparable field preferably within machinery moving industry.
• Excellent interpersonal, supervisory and project management skills.
• Highly self directed and motivated.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must have extensive experience moving machinery with forklift, skating,Â
leveling and anchoring of machines.
• Must be able to work along aside field technician in assembly and erecting ofÂ
machine tools.
• Must be able to obtain DOT medical card upon hire (company will assist as needed)..
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
This is physical, hands-on work. Must be able to perform General PhysicalÂ
Activities that require considerable use of arms, legs, and activities requiringÂ
moving the whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, orÂ
crouching. May regularly lift items up to 50 pounds. Frequently uses sensesÂ
involving sight, smell, touch, and auditory. May work off the ground at varyingÂ
heights; must not be affected by flashing lights, noise, or moving machinery. MayÂ
perform occasional work in a warehouse or non-temperature-controlledÂ
environment and/or outdoors over uneven terrain or with exposure to inclementÂ
weather.Â
