The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor is number two to the Maintenance Supervisor and must possess both technical and administrative skills. This role is a key position on the maintenance team by assisting with administration, logistics, communication with the maintenance team on work orders, and being the contact person for our maintenance department.  Responsibilities:   Provide customer service for residents and vendors  Run and maintain turn board for effective vendor scheduling  Maintain strong relationships with vendors while also managing their performance  Ensure units are move-in ready  Communicate with maintenance technicians on service requests  Updating on-call service with information as needed  Complete follow up checks on work orders  General administrative duties such as processing invoices, answering phones, taking work orders, managing vendor required paperwork, etc.   Assist maintenance supervisor with streamlining operations, managing budget and other tasks as needed  Back up maintenance as needed   Qualifications:  Basic technical maintenance knowledge Working knowledge of Excel  Familiarity with maintenance management systems   Ability to stand/walk/sit for long periods of time Ability to walk the property Ability to lift 50 pounds Qualifications
