Human Resources | Child Care Program-JMWe are seeking a dedicated Teaching Aide to join our Child Care Center team. This position is designed for a student worker who will support the center's daily operations by assisting in the care and education of children ages 6 weeks through kindergarten. The role requires excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to representing the department and the university with the highest degree of integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with full-time staff in the care and education of young children.
Ensure the health and safety of children at all times.
Facilitate and participate in activities that support children's developmental progress, including social, emotional, cognitive, language, creative, and motor skills.
Assist in meeting children’s routine needs, such as feeding, toileting, and resting.
Perform basic administrative duties as required.
Represent the department and the university in alignment with our mission and values.
Required Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of child development.
Dependability and flexibility.
Strong organizational and customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively with a team with wide-ranging perspectives and experiences.
Additional Information:
