About The Position

Our client, a clinic in Ohio, is seeking a Board Certified Hematology Oncologist for a 50-day locum tenens position starting July 1, 2025. Schedule: Wed-Fri: 8am to 5pm plus call coverage 2-3 nights per week (4pm-8am) and 1-2 weekends per month, including the 4th of July weekend, across two hospital locations.


What You'll Do:

  • See an average of 15-20 adult patients per day, focusing on a 50/50 mix of Hematology and Oncology cases.
  • Lead the Infusion center, creating and maintaining treatment plans for oncology patients, including writing chemotherapy orders. Although chemotherapy administration is handled by on-site nurses, you will be the go-to for any queries and urgent patient needs.

Who You Are:

  • A Board Certified professional in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
  • Licensed to practice in Ohio.
  • Experienced with the Epic EMR system, enhancing your ability to integrate smoothly into our client's operation.
