Job DetailsJob Location: Columbus, GA 31901Salary Range: $9.00 - $10.00 Hourly The Shirt/Pants Presser is responsible for operating pressing equipment to finish laundered garments to a high-quality standard. This role ensures shirts, pants, and other garments are properly pressed, wrinkle-free, and ready for customer pickup while maintaining production efficiency.  Operate commercial pressing machines (steam pressers, shirt units, etc.) to press shirts, pants, and similar garments Inspect garments before and after pressing for stains, damage, or needed re-cleaning Ensure garments meet company quality standards (crisp appearance, proper creases, no wrinkles) Follow garment care instructions and handle fabrics appropriately Maintain steady workflow to meet daily production goals Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of pressing equipment Report equipment issues or garment defects to supervisor Keep work area clean, organized, and safe Assist with sorting or finishing tasks as needed   Qualifications Previous experience in dry cleaning or garment pressing preferred (training can be provided) Ability to operate pressing equipment safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment Good time management and reliability
