This role supports WOSU 89.7 NPR News newsroom. Responsibilities include writing scripts, interviewing sources for stories, pitching story ideas, recording and writing stories for radio and the web, attending news meetings, and other duties as assigned.

Training is provided for technical duties that include editing audio and building posts on the website.

Additional Information:

Qualifications: Interest in current events, public affairs, journalism and writing.


Requirements: Punctuality, accuracy, attention to detail, self-starter, ability to take direction.
 

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday with flexible hours between 9am and 5pm approx 20+ hours a week.
