Description:

Position Purpose:

The Respiratory Assistant I functions in administering and performing respiratory therapy floor care under the direct supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner.

What You Will Do:

Clean respiratory equipment and prepare it for use by Respiratory Therapists
Check for expired medications and supplies
Assemble airway boxes and carts
Stock supplies in respiratory department and on nursing units

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Enrolled in, and in good standing in a formal respiratory care educational program.
Licensure / Certification: N/A
Maintain current BLS certification
