Job DetailsJob Location: Ohio - Columbus, OH 43207Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 Salary/yearTravel Percentage: Up to 10%Job Shift: DayJob Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor supports Operations Management by overseeing daily warehouse operations, coordinating staff, and ensuring efficient workflow in compliance with company policies. This role helps maintain productivity, operational efficiency, and overall performance goals Essential Functions: Oversees daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping activities Supervises, trains, and evaluates warehouse associates to ensure productivity and compliance Conducts shift meetings to communicate updates, priorities, and operational goals Ensures inbound and outbound shipments are processed according to company SOPs Promotes a safe work environment by enforcing equipment and safety procedures Maintains working knowledge of warehouse systems and operational processes Provides leadership and support to warehouse employees by identifying and resolving operational issues Monitors employee performance and enforces company policies and procedures in partnership with Human Resources Supports staffing needs and manages employee schedules to meet operational demands Ensures project scope changes are documented and approved when necessary Monitors quality standards and compliance with company policies and procedures Completes assignments efficiently, accurately, and within established deadlines Demonstrates professionalism, teamwork, and respect in all interactions with employees and management Travel regularly between multiple sites to ensure operational and safety consistency - Must maintain a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and maintain a clean motor vehicle report at all times throughout employment Other duties as assigned QualificationsRequirements/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, including at least three (3) years in a supervisory role Five (5)+ years of 3PL and/or related warehouse or logistics experience preferred Strong leadership, supervisory, and team management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities Experience working in a multi-shift operation preferred Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Strong math, analytical, and technical skills Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions quickly Forklift certification required Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); Softeon experience preferred Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues using sound judgment, professionalism, and diplomacy, while recognizing when escalation is necessary Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
