City - Commerce City, CO 80022Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $28.00 - $37.00 HourlyJob Shift: DayThis position reports directly to the Department Manager to troubleshoot and repair all types of welding equipment including preventative maintenance and warranty repairs. This includes troubleshooting and repairing all brands and types of welding, cutting, and related equipment. Position Responsibilities: Inventory management of machines and parts Communicate effectively with customer, Customer Sales Representatives, vendors, store employees regarding any repair requirements Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair Load and unload repairs using forklift Coordination and transportation of repairs to outside vendors Calculation of parts prices and estimates, ordering parts Troubleshoot, source parts, and complete accurate repairs on all welding manufacturer’s brands, models, and diverse types of equipment Willing to complete shop and fieldwork as needed Complete all service requests in a complete, timely manner, along with all related paperwork Communicates with the Welder Repair Manager on problems as they arise with customers or repairs Perform all duties in a safe manner including appropriate use of all Personal Protective Equipment Must be able to maintain a clean organized work area (CNO Standard) Accurately record and update information into Welder Repair App Maintain daily updates to Welder Repair to include detailed progress of diagnostics and detailed repair notes Upload files to Welder Repair tickets as needed Other duties as assigned QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities: Past electrical repair work experience Welding/Mechanical/Electrical background Strong Customer Service attitude Computer systems and processes associated with welder repair Welding processes and associated equipment Electrical theory and operation How to properly operate all test equipment associated with equipment repair Small engine operation Safety and compliance procedures and regulations; (OSHA) Electrical system schematics, components, and equipment Enjoy working with your hands Work independently or with a team Communicates effectively with all appropriate departments, and stakeholders Prioritize and complete tasks while maintaining a fluid workflow Education and Experience: High school education or equivalent Physical Requirements: Frequent lifting of 10-20lbs is required, may at times lift up to 75lbs Reoccurring pushing/pulling 150lbs Ability to work indoor/outdoor with hot summer and cold winter conditions where high noise levels are possible
