Production - Assembler
Position Summary: The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for providing support and analysis of quality controls and quality inspections for products and parts to ensure compliance to established quality standards.
Essential Job Functions and Duties
- Ensure the completion of shop damage reports and FPY reports
- Ensure the maintenance of the inspection pictures
- Use Business Central to move vans on/off Hold and to update and close work orders
- Assist with the processing of inspection documentation
- Assist with the calculation of payload and apply decals on upfitted vehicles
- Assist with the inspections for defects or non-performing items during final and in-process production by confirming specifications on upfitted vehicles
- Assist with the performance of inspection testing with calibrated equipment, as needed
- Maintain organization and quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products, recording quality results
- Assist with the processing and reporting non-conforming parts and products
- Assist with the review and improvement of quality control processes
- Comply with Core Values always (LOVE IT)
- Complete other duties as assigned which include assisting with other team members in the detail and final inspection areas
Position Qualifications and Entrance Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2-year associate degree a plus
- 1+ year of related quality experience preferred
- 1+ year of related manufacturing experience preferred
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficiency with MS Word and Excel required
- Solid verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills are required

- Ability to maintain a valid driver's license
- Candidates must successfully complete criminal and motor vehicle background check and pre-employment drug screening
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- Able to function in a production environment using standard measurement equipment (calibrated measuring equipment, gauges, inspection fixtures, etc.)
- Must be able to function in an office environment using standard technology (computer, printer, fax, phone, etc.)
- Frequently lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing over 10 pounds
- Must be able to complete production-related physical activities (walking, standing, talking, hearing, pushing, reaching, seeing, stooping/crouching, smelling, depth perception, identifying colors) as needed
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to produce
- Participate in required company safety programs, trainings, and PPE guidelines
