Job Overview:

As a Licensed Mental Health Professional at Ultra Health, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of residents in senior care communities. Working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, you will deliver high-quality psychotherapy and help foster a supportive environment where residents can explore their experiences, manage challenges, and enhance their sense of purpose and well-being.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based psychotherapy services to residents within senior living environments, which may include long-term care, assisted living, and independent living facilities.
  • Facilitate individual, group, family, and crisis intervention sessions using appropriate therapeutic modalities.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, formulate DSM-5–based diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility personnel to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in the facility’s EMR system, utilizing appropriate ICD-10 coding.
  • Adhere to HIPAA, state, and federal regulations while upholding ethical standards of clinical practice.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
  • Active Social Work/Counseling license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or equivalent (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience providing psychotherapy to adult or geriatric populations.


Preferred Experience:
  • Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or skilled nursing environments.
  • Exposure to and understanding dementia and other cognitive impairments, including strategies for managing behavioral and emotional changes.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, ICD-10 coding, and EMR documentation standards.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed, person-centered, and culturally competent care models.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in cognitive-behavioral and supportive therapy approaches.
