We have an immediate opening for a 12Hr Night Shift Production Operator. Working 7:00PM - 7:00AM, hours will be 48/36 alternating with the 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

$1.20 cent shift differential for working Night Shift!Â
Key responsibilities
As a Production Operator, you’ll safely set up and operate equipment to optimize machine capability and product output. Applying your knowledge and skill to troubleshoot and address routine equipment malfunctions and ensure high quality goods are produced.
We’ll count on you to help us meet our customer and consumer needs as you:
- Communicate with other team members, such as supervisors, quality control personnel, or other manufacturing operators to coordinate production activities and ensure production goals are met.
- Accurately maintain records and documentation as required.Â
- Follow SOP's, GMP's safety rules, sanitation rules, good housekeeping procedures, and company rules of conduct.
- Report food safety problems and participate in all company training for food safety and plant safety.Â
- Follow strict safety procedures while maintaining a hazard-free work area including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.Â
- Notify supervisor of unusual problems, delays, and/or safety issuesÂ
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and skills
To get the most of this role at Kerry you’ll need to meet these minimum requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalentÂ
- At least 2 years’ experience or in a similar role in the manufacturing industryÂ
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of various types of machines and equipmentÂ
- Ability to lift up to 50 poundsÂ
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skillsÂ
- Flexible and willing to adapt to changes
- Ability to work independently and well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Must be able to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with full range of body motion.Â
- Must be able to work in uncomfortable environments including hot, cold, wet and/or humid conditions. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals will occur. Possible exposure to nut allergens.Â
