General Construction Technician (supporting Naval Research Lab)

ASRC Federal Systems Solutions, LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a General Construction Technician to support our Prime contract at the Blossom Point Tracking Facility for the Naval Research Lab in Welcome, MD. 

The General Construction Technician specializes in all types of repair, maintenance, building and remodeling. You must have basic construction skills, be organized, and effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and team members with a positive attitude. The GC technician must be able to work cohesively on a team as well as take the lead on projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in:

• Drywall Installation, repair, and finishing
• General Carpentry Rough and Finish
• Painting Interior and Exterior
• Installation of metal siding and roofs
• Installation of commercial doors, windows, and locks
• Installation of drop ceilings
• Concrete forming and finishing
• Flooring repair and installation
• Handyman, General Repair & Maintenance Work
• Knowledge of Federal and State Building Codes
• Material Management (inventory, tracking, ordering, etc.)
• Heavy equipment experience desired
• Plumbing and Electrical knowledge desired
• HVAC knowledge desired
• Team and Customer Relations
• Microsoft Office
• HS Diploma + 8 years of experience
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance
