Job Title: Plant Associate
Location: Comstock, MI
Shift: 1st shift
Salary: Starting Pay: $21.00/hr
Company Overview:
At Quality Liquid Feeds, our philosophy is to hire the right people, place them in the right spot, and let them do their job. We are currently seeking a diligent and skilled Production Associate to join our dynamic team at our Comstock Park, MI Facility.
Responsibilities:
- Operate production equipment and machinery according 聽聽聽聽聽to established procedures.
- Follow production schedules, work instructions, and 聽聽聽聽聽standard operating procedures
- Load and unload raw materials and finished goods.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
- Perform basic product inspections and quality checks.
- Complete production or inventory records accurately.
- Identify and report quality or compliance issues.
- Follow all plant safety policies and company 聽聽聽聽聽procedures.
- Wear required PPE and maintain a safe work 聽聽聽聽聽environment.
- Participate in safety meetings and training.
- Maintain cleanliness of production areas, equipment, 聽聽聽聽聽and common spaces.
- Assist with equipment cleaning.
- Support basic facility upkeeps tasks as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members.
- Assist during busy periods, downtime, or special 聽聽聽聽聽projects.
Requirements
聽聽
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but 聽聽聽聽聽not required. Training is provided.
- High school level reading, writing, and mathematical 聽聽聽聽聽skills.
- The ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance.
- Ability to solve problems effectively and 聽聽聽聽聽efficiently.
- Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with 聽聽聽聽聽various individuals.
- Ability to work effectively in and promote a team 聽聽聽聽聽environment.
Physical Requirements:
This is an active role requiring regular standing, climbing, and lifting (up to 100 lbs). Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable the performance of essential duties and responsibilities.
Work Environment:
You鈥檒l experience a mix of indoor and outdoor conditions, with exposure to moderate noise and adverse weather elements. Safety and quality are always top priorities.
