As a Bulk Plant Field Technician you will be responsible for proactively inspecting, maintaining, and repairing bulk plant facilities, equipment, and fleet vehicles to ensure safe, compliant, and consistently reliable operations across the network. Your goal in this role is to uphold a safe, efficient, and dependable supply infrastructure that enables continuous operational performance. Your success will be to minimize unplanned downtime and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Your Responsibilities
Monitor performance and operational status of all sites within the business network
Conduct routine site inspections across all facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations
Address plant and facility issues promptly, escalating when required and perform preventative, routine, and required maintenance on facility equipment and systems
Troubleshoot plant related problems to restore normal operations
Prepare equipment and facilities for maintenance and return to service activities and oversee proper and safe loading of fleet vehicles
Support project management activities and assist with regulatory compliance tasks (including API inspections)
Collaborate with Irving stakeholders to provide operational support and ensure alignment with business needs
Your Skills
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
Knowledge of facility operations, preventative maintenance practices, and safe work procedures
Ability to assess and respond appropriately to emergency or high severity situations
Effective communication and collaboration skills when working with internal stakeholders and coaching others
Familiarity with regulatory compliance processes, inspection standards, and operational discipline principles
Competence in documenting maintenance activities and following formal operating procedures
Your Experience
2–5 years of experience in facility operations, field service, mechanical maintenance, or a related technical role
Post secondary education or technical training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems (or equivalent experience)
Experience working in environments requiring strict adherence to safety standards and operating procedures
