Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Laboratory Operations, the Associate Client Services Manager is responsible for the overall management of daily operations for the Phlebotomy and Specimen Processing areas of the Laboratory. The Manager is responsible for all aspects of the technical function, workflow, coordination of personnel, management of operations, maintenance of morale, and compliance with policies and procedures. The focus is to achieve hospital goals center around quality improvement, productivity, customer/employee satisfaction and fiscal objectives. In addition, assists in the development and implementation of education and training in order to achieve goals and objectives within the client services program.

Minimum Qualifications

 Education 

  • Associates degree in a science or healthcare related field required.
  • Certified Phlebotomy Training Course completion and certificate strongly preferred.

 Experience

  •  A minimum of five years experience in Phlebotomy required.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.

 Licensure and/or Certification

  •  Certified Phlebotomist ASCP

 Skills 

  • Computer proficiency (including MS Word, Outlook, Meditech strongly preferred)
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
