As a Tractor Trailer Driver, you will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of petroleum products to commercial and retail sites. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our customers in a safety focused environment. Your success will depend on your ability to adhere to daily routes, load the fuel truck, and complete pre-and post-trip inspections while maintaining all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and procedures.Â

Your Responsibilities:Â Â
- Deliver Irving Oil Products to various locations within the required geographical locationsÂ
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is performing to the required standardsÂ
- Review and plan daily routes while collaborating with our Dispatch team to improve the efficiency of routesÂ
- Safely load and unload products from storage facilities while adhering to all safety policies and proceduresÂ
- Continuously evaluate and make safety decisions on trucks, conditions, products, sites, deliveries, leaks, and any other situations in which the driver feels there may be a safety issue. Report all hazards or unsafe situations that cannot be corrected on their own to the ManagerÂ
- Complete daily shift reports and all required paperwork with accurate informationÂ
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle – inside & outsideÂ
Your Skills:Â Â
- Strong communication and collaboration skillsÂ
- Basic mathematical skills Â
- Safety-focused with strong technical skillsÂ
- Ability to work 12-hour schedulesÂ
Your Experience:Â
- A valid CDL Class A Driver’s License with Hazmat & Tanker endorsementsÂ
- High school diploma or G.E.D. requiredÂ
- Minimum 2 years Commercial Transportation experienceÂ
- Previous experience with liquid loads is considered an asset
The expected hourly range for this position is $32.50-$35.50. Placement within range will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills.
