Position Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, high-quality care according to each resident's individualized care plan

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility

  • Obtain and document vital signs while promptly reporting changes in resident condition to the licensed nursing staff

  • Respond quickly to resident call lights and provide attentive, respectful care

  • Accurately document resident care in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents

  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members

  • Promote resident dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life

Qualifications

  • Current, active California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Compassionate, dependable, and resident-centered approach to care

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced skilled nursing setting

  • Previous skilled nursing or post-acute experience is preferred but not required
