Facilities & Construction Project Manager - Onsite
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Facilities & Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning, design, construction, and renovation of our facilities through various projects. This role is responsible for managing capital improvement projects and timelines.
The ideal candidate understands the urgency, precision, and confidentiality required in elite motorsport environments and can deliver world-class facilities that support competitive performance at the highest level of racing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end construction and renovation projects from concept through completion.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and procurement strategies.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Communicate project updates to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Conduct cost analyses and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Support bidding processes and contract negotiations.
- Communicate project updates to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation and permits for all construction activities.
- All other responsibilities assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or related field (required).
- 5+ years of experience in facilities management and/or construction project management.
- Experience managing multiple large-scale capital projects.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, construction practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, P&IDs, mechanical schematics, and electrical prints.
- Excellent communication, vendor coordination, and organizational abilities.
- Outstanding project management and organizational skills.
- Strong budgeting and financial management abilities.
- Proficiency with project management software. (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
Certifications (Preferred):
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
- OSHA Safety Certification
Work Environment
- Combination of office and on-site construction environments.
- May require occasional evening or weekend work depending on project timelines.
- Ability to walk job sites and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
