Summary
Under the supervision of the department food service production manager, is responsible for inspecting and receiving all supplies. Prepares daily inventory count to assist the food buyer.
Education
High school or equivalent (GED).
Certification, Registration, and Licensure
None required.
Experience
Minimum of one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
Receives, inspects and distributes daily inventory based on invoices.
Fills and delivers inventory requisition sheets.
Prepares inventory count for the food buyer.
Utilizes departmental equipment operations.
Completes housekeeping chores.
Adheres to all hospital, department and regulatory policies and procedures including Hazard Analysis
Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards.
Attends departmental meetings.
Performs other duties as assigned.
