Summary/Objective Â
Abode manages the residential portion of the Mass Save® program, helping ensure efficient operations and consistent contractor compliance with program standards.Â
The Program Coordinator supports the HPC Account Management team by serving as a key point of contact for contractors, customers, and internal staff. The role provides guidance on program requirements and helps maintain clear, responsive communication across stakeholders.Â
This position works directly with Home Performance Contractors to help ensure projects are processed correctly and contractors remain compliant with program rules and guidelines. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to apply strong communication, analytical, and project management skills to advance decarbonization efforts.Â
ResponsibilitiesÂ
Reporting to the Program Manager and partnering closely with the Mass Save RTS team, this role may include the following responsibilities:Â
- Manage and respond to customer and contractor inquiries by email and phoneÂ
- Create, maintain, and resolve customer and contractor cases/issuesÂ
- Maintain response-time standards and document resolutionsÂ
- Support contractor complianceÂ
- Process annual participation agreements and confirm complianceÂ
- Review contractor certifications regularly and follow up on renewalsÂ
- Update and maintain relevant databases and resourcesÂ
- Track Advisor and Crew Lead information for software accessÂ
- Review and approve Marketing pieces submitted by HPCs.Â
- Provide administrative and documentation support to program staffÂ
- Collaborate daily with the program team and stakeholdersÂ
- Help develop program materials and collateralÂ
- Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholdersÂ
- Track, summarize, and analyze KPIs and other program dataÂ
- Attend contractor-facing meetings as neededÂ
- Support monthly reporting requirementsÂ
- Contribute to program improvement and growthÂ
- Adapt to evolving program needsÂ
- Work with stakeholders to improve program deliveryÂ
- Continue building technical and program knowledgeÂ
- Adapt to ongoing evolutions of program needs Â
- Innovate with stakeholders to improve program delivery Â
- Continue to grow in technical and program knowledge Â
QualificationsÂ
Strong candidates will bring most of the following skills and experience:Â
- Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant experienceÂ
- Interest in sustainability, building science, or climate workÂ
- Experience in a fast-paced office environment in project management or communicationsÂ
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft tools and comfort learning new softwareÂ
- Strong written and verbal communication skillsÂ
- Calm, steady approach to working with people from a wide range of backgrounds and needsÂ
- Adaptable, collaborative team player with a positive attitudeÂ
- Self-starter who can manage competing priorities and changing schedules effectivelyÂ
The following skills and experience are preferred:Â
- Mass Save experience and knowledge (highly preferred)Â
- Heat pump knowledgeÂ
The following skills and experience are a plus:Â
- Experience training or educating othersÂ
- Experience with customer relationship management software such as SalesforceÂ
- Fluency in Spanish or PortugueseÂ
Compensation and Benefits Â
This is a full-time, exempt position with total compensation targeted between $65K and $75K, depending on relevant skills and experience. The Program Coordinator will work most of the time out of their own home, with some travel as needed to work with other staff in Abode’s Concord office and/or to attend events or meetings.  Abode offers its employees a competitive benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance, a matching 401k, and fully paid Parental Leave.
