Position Details
- Status: Full-Time
- Pay Rate: $38.00 per hour
- Schedule: Varies (may include weekends and holidays)
Role Summary
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of an RN or physician. You will play a vital role in ensuring residents receive quality care while maintaining their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document residents’ health status and report changes
- Provide wound care and other skilled nursing services
- Assist in developing and implementing care plans
- Supervise and support CNAs
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies
- Respond to resident needs and emergencies in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Active California LVN license required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting is a plus
- Strong clinical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach
