The Maintenance Technician will oversee the plant’s daily operations. This position will lead risk assessments for each station and work with other areas to implement actions to reduce risk of accidents or incidents. It will work with 5S coordination and help maintenance manager to perform PM (Preventive Maintenance) and Maintenance work order control. Contribute to internal and external system audits as needed

What You’ll Do
- Preventive Maintenance (PM) Implementation. Assist in the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to reduce downtime and improve equipment lifespan.
- Automation Integration. Support the integration of automation where possible to streamline maintenance processes and improve productivity.
- License Expiration Control. Monitor and manage the expiration dates of important licenses and certifications, such as fire extinguishers, elevators, and air compressor annual verifications.
- Supplier Development. Develop relationships with external suppliers to perform mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance services as needed, ensuring optimal performance of critical assets.
- Problem solving using PDCA
- Help to implement KPI like: MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure), MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), PM (Preventive Maintenance) and WO closed on time

What You’ll Bring
- Minimum high school
- 5 years’ production experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and experience in Lean Principles, Problem solving, flow, standard work, Kanban, 5S
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization.
- Challenge and persistence: Continues to take challenges without fear of failure, persistently challenges; embraces change, exercises curiosity, and keeps moving forward once a decision has been made
