School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Concord, North Carolina
Pay: $35/hour - $55/hour & dependent on experience
Birch Agency is seeking a passionate and dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist to join a supportive educational team in the Concord, NC area from March 5-May 28. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students academic success, independence, and overall development.
Position Overview
As a School-Based OT, you will work collaboratively with educators, families, and other service providers to support students with fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and functional participation in the school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
Support students access to the educational curriculum
Qualifications
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy preferred
Active or eligible North Carolina OT license
NBCOT certification preferred
School-based or pediatric experience a plus
Strong communication and collaboration skills
