Production Supervisor

We are recruiting for a Production Supervisor for our manufacturing department.

• Direct and coach production operators in the execution of daily/weekly production schedule for multiple packaging lines.
• Efficiently meet and exceed production goals while maintaining safety, quality and productivity while minimizing waste
• Collaborate with the other departments for all production needs
• Review, interpret and analyze production data to determine if adjustments must be made
• Partner with Human Resources in the recruitment, hiring and training of personnel and other employee relations issues
• Encourage teamwork, and build morale among staff
• Provide strong leadership to staff in regards to professionalism, courtesy, adhering to policy
• May conduct period end inventory and routine raw material inventory
• Enforce and maintain SOP's, GMP's, and Safety guidelines
• Maintain time and attendance records and track performance for operators
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Five years supervisory experience in production environment
• BA/BS preferred. Associates degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to train on any shift and work any shift as business needs dictate.
• Demonstrated professionalism, good work ethic and leadership skills.
• Sound math and analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage and motivate personnel
• Strong initiative, ability to anticipate issues proactively.
• Intermediate computer skills to include Word, Excel, Outlook and AS400.
