As GEOKON continues to redefine what's possible in wireless data acquisition, we are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer who combines technical expertise with strong leadership skills. In this position, you will not only spearhead the development of cutting-edge low-power embedded systems and advanced sensor technologies but also guide and inspire a team of engineers. Requirements

  • Design and develop mixed-signal, low-power embedded systems related to data acquisition systems.
  • Oversee the creation of PCB designs, ensuring manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and performance.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of projects, such as technology selection and long-term planning.
  • Produce hardware specifications, design documents, and test procedures.
  • Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead the validation and verification of hardware designs through testing, simulation, and hands-on experimentation.
  • Investigate new technologies and methodologies to enhance product performance or development processes.
  • Assess existing products for possible improvements, enhancements or cost reduction
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing leadership in both technical and process-driven tasks.


Your Contribution

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, or related electronics field.
  • 5+ years of experience in embedded systems design and development.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including team management, mentorship, and fostering collaboration within engineering teams.
  • Proficiency in low-power hardware design and test equipment.
  • Solid understanding of data processing concepts, regression, and metrology.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficient using Altium Designer for schematic capture, layout a plus.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools for circuit analysis and validation.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers and an understanding of PCB assembly processes.
  • Experience with communication standards and protocols, including EIA-232/485, USB, SPI/I2C.
