Shipping Technician – Glen Mills, PA

Full-Time | Warehouse-Based Role

ROLE SUMMARY


The Shipping Technician coordinates the preparation, handling, and shipment of patient-specific medical equipment while supporting daily warehouse operations. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, equipment handling, and compliance with company standards. The Shipping Technician works closely with internal teams to ensure equipment is properly prepared, documented, shipped, and returned in support of patient care.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


• Prepare, package, and ship patient-specific equipment accurately and efficiently

• Verify orders, inventory assignments, and shipment details to ensure accuracy

• Ensure all required documentation is completed and included with shipments

• Monitor orders and work orders to support timely delivery expectations

• Complete order entry processes accurately within company systems

• Maintain warehouse organization and ensure inspection readiness

• Select appropriate shipping methods to support cost-effective delivery

• Coordinate equipment returns by verifying product counts, condition, and accuracy

• Maintain a clean and organized equipment return area in compliance with company standards

• Support inventory accuracy through proper handling and documentation

• Assist with warehouse projects and operational needs as assigned

• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and follow company policies and procedures

Requirements


• High school diploma or GED required

• Industry-related warehouse experience preferred; equivalent education and experience considered

• Computer proficiency and ability to learn company systems and software

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently

• Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


• Ability to work in a warehouse environment and operate standard office and warehouse equipment

• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds

• Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift, bend, reach, and carry materials

• Ability to maintain focus and accuracy in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work in a warehouse that is not air conditioned

• Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise levels


SUPERVISORY FUNCTIONS

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities
