School Speech Language Pathologist ($3k Bonus)

Birch Agency, a nationally recognized company in educational services, is looking for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Martinez, CA! We have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with special needs, and we are hiring like-minded professionals to be part of our team.

Job Details:

• 8 hrs/day (4 days a week) - 32 hrs/week

• Elementary and Middle School (2 sites)

  • Elementary are speech only kiddos, not Special Day Class

  • Middle schoolers are Moderate/Severe (only 5)

• Caseload: approximately 44 (5 of which are Junior High)

• On site only (Martinez, CA)

• Start: August 13th | End: June 4th 2026

• Flexible schedule for splitting sites

• Pay starting at $70/hr (dependent on experience)

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech and Communication from an accredited institution

• Valid CA state license for Speech Language Pathology

• Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting, with a strong emphasis on supporting those with special needs

Responsibilities:

As a Speech Language Pathologist with Birch Agency, you will:

• Evaluate students referred with speech/language disorders to determine degree and severity

• Provide Speech Therapy to students with a wide variety of disabilities

• Complete appropriate paperwork following state guidelines

• Attend IEP Meetings

• Confer with parents and develop home programs when necessary

• Consult with Teachers

• Work as a part of Special Ed team

• Provide thorough and accurate documentation in a timely fashion
