Job Summary
Reporting to the Supervisor of Sterile Processing, the Technician II is responsible for following departmental rules and regulations and departmental policies and procedures, for all work practices including cleaning, assembling, sterilizing surgical instrumentation and supplies.
Minimum Qualifications
脗路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Education
o聽聽 High school diploma or equivalent required.
o聽聽 Completion of a sterile processing course required.
脗路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience
o聽聽 One to three years sterile processing/operating room experience strongly preferred.
脗路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Licensure and/or Certification
o聽聽 Certification in Central Service required.
脗路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Skills
o聽聽 Excellent customer service skills.
o聽聽 Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow all protocols.
o聽聽 Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
o聽聽 Computer skills required.
o聽聽 Ability to maintain confidential information.
