Enjoys working in the fast-paced 24/7 industrial manufacturing environment. The QC Lab Technician must learn quickly, be a team player, and ensure optimal lab operation. They can also adhere to company policies and procedures concerning safe work practices and testing procedures.   What you do: Our ideal teammate has work-related experience with the following Conduct these on-going tests according to established procedures: Solids Viscosity pH Grit Particle size Film tests Froth Density Gas Chromatography Styrene-butadiene ratio checks Surface tension Biological tests Product Blends Manual COA generation when necessary On-site truck dispatch Distribution of logistic paperwork for deliveries (in-coming and out-going) Participate in regular training assessments per the QC Lab Supervisor. Others as requested or required   Input data and maintain accurate records of tests on worksheets and computer database Perform weekly calibration checks on lab instruments and records data Perform clerical tasks as required to release shipments to customers, to communicate OOS data, and to perform/complete all necessary checklists for product blends and other miscellaneous tests. Retain samples in an organized manner. Pull and test retains for customer complaints. Interpret test results and communicate results as soon as possible. Serve as primary contact with drivers picking up or dropping trailers, including creation and distribution of required paperwork Accountable to training Quality Control Technicians QualificationsSkills and Qualifications:  Work independently and in a team Multi-task with flexibility Successfully prioritize when faced with requests, demands, and deadlines Interpret and communicate test results Demonstrate an ability to identify, analyze and solve problems Utilize Microsoft Office, JDE, and Bizzmine effectively and with ease 1+ years of prior lab testing experience Effective communication skills (written and oral); customer-oriented (internal and external) Proficiency in basic math (including rounding and percentages) Prefer a 2yr/4yr Chemistry degree Prefer ASQ Certification     Work Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 2/2/3 Schedule, 1 PM- 1 AM                                Must be able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled   Positions available: 1 (one)
