ExcitingĀ place to start your nursing career!Ā Ā 2CGHJ is a 51-bed medical surgical telemetry unit that focuses on Medical/Surgical patients, a hall dedicated toĀ serveĀ patients with heart failure and 2 halls that serve as the primary inpatient unit for our great Family Medicine residency program. The unit is one of the ā€œnewestā€ units in the hospital as it originally opened in 2021 to accommodate covid patients and has transitioned into a comprehensive Medical/Surgical unit.Ā Ā Atrium Health Cabarrus is the only hospital in the county of Cabarrus and is northeast of the largest city in NC, so the unit was needed to form to meet the increased hospital census needs. Medical-Surgical nursing gives you foundational skills for your nursing career. The unit provides excellent patient care and great teamwork. Come join our team of excellent professionals!Ā

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursingĀ 

  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practicesĀ 

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart AssociationĀ
