Pump, Valve, Blower & Vacuum Service CentersÂ
We are the Mid-Atlantic’s largest industrial pump and process equipment solutions provider, with locations in Aston and York, Pennsylvania, and Baltimore, Maryland. We’re seeking a leader for our Service and Repair Team who will use their entrepreneurial, technical, and managerial skills to drive the growth and excellence of our Pump, Blower, and Vacuum Pump Service Centers. What You Get To DoÂ
- Lead a team of service technicians and coordinators — set expectations, coach continuously, and build a high-performing teamÂ
- Drive service operations excellence: scheduling, job prioritization, turnaround time, labor utilization, and profitability.Â
- Monitor team KPI’s and work collaboratively with GM and other senior leaders to maintain and improve performanceÂ
- Develop team capacity, capabilities, and expertise through active training and ongoing developmentÂ
- Maintain and continually improve shop organization, tooling, SOPs, and job workflowÂ
- Champion safety in shop and field service operations — develop programs, enforce standards, and lead by exampleÂ
- Perform quality reviews of inspection and field service reports; continuously improve quality programsÂ
- Support service quoting efforts with technical review and profitability optimizationÂ
- Collaborate with sales teams to support customer presentations, joint visits, and business developmentÂ
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships; assure customer focus across the teamÂ
- Conduct regular team meetings, address performance issues directly, and participate in setting team goals and growth targetsÂ
What We Need From YouÂ
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, plus 5 years of relevant experience including leadership; or significant equivalent leadership experience in service operationsÂ
- Full-time, in-person position in either Geiger’s Aston, PA or Baltimore locations, with frequent travel to the other location and customer locations as neededÂ
- P&L familiarity is a plusÂ
- Hands-on background as a technician, project coordinator, and/or supervisorÂ
- Proven ability to lead and develop a technical teamÂ
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasksÂ
- Ability and desire to coach and grow your team’s capabilitiesÂ
- Experience maintaining safety programs and trainingÂ
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable leading in a variety of situationsÂ
- Sharp problem-solving skills with attention to quality and detailÂ
- Customer-focused mindset and professional demeanorÂ
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Â
- Physical ability to work in a shop environment and occasionally lift to 50 poundsÂ
