The Kiski School, a co-educational boarding and day school in Saltsburg, PA, is seeking a skilled Office Coordinator to support the Office of College Counseling (CCO).


The CCO Coordinator is the first point of contact with students, families, and admission representatives, and plays a critical role in supporting the work of the two full-time college counselors. Β 


The ideal candidate will bring a sense of humor, warmth, and enthusiasm for working with students as well as excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Duties and responsibilities include:


● Assist the Counselors in managing the college application process for Kiski students

● Schedule/manage college rep visits and manage office calendars and CCO bulletin boards

● Manage correspondence and communications for the College Counseling office

● Maintain student records and data in the college application process, including transcripts, test scores, and application materials

● Organize and send bi-weekly parent electronic newsletters

● Assist with aspects of on-campus testing, including proctoring SAT tests throughout the year

● Assist in preparing reports and presentations for the Counselors Β 

● Collaborate with other school departments as needed

● Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Director

● This is an in-person position that will require occasional weekend/evening work


The ideal candidate for the position will possess the following qualities and qualifications:Β 

● Bachelor's degree preferred

● Previous experience in an administrative or executive assistant role preferred

● Strong organizational abilities: time-management, planning, and prioritization skills

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Google Forms, Social Media platforms. Β Familiarity with Scoir and Blackbaud is a plus.

● Ability to work independently and in a team environment

● Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Β
