Job DetailsLevel: ManagementJob Location: Congerville, IL - Congerville, IL 61729Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 SalaryJob Summary: The FSQA Supervisor will provide technical support to Quality, Customers, Quality/Food Safety, R&D, Marketing, Purchasing, Production, and Supply Chain as well as to ensure that food safety documentation/programs comply with global, governmental, customer, and any GFSI certifying body requirements. Provide technical support for a variety of activities, review quality management programs, generate and review documentation (work instructions), support testing out on the production floor, as well as support all quality initiatives around food safety and food quality.  Location: The FSQA Supervisor will support Top Fox in Congerville, IL.  Key Responsibilities: Responsible for all aspects of food safety and food quality systems and serves as the backup as the company SQF practitioner/QA Manager. Lead efforts to ensure quality compliance for the business. Coordinate activities associated with the preparation of quality documents or submissions. Maintain current knowledge of existing and emerging quality regulations, standards, and guidance documents to interpret rules or rule changes which may require an update to existing company procedures and policies. Maintain centralized document management systems for Quality and Food Safety. Support for Quality and Food Safety corrective action investigations as needed. Maintain hard copy and electronic files to ensure compliance. Participate in vendor approval process for raw materials and packaging. Communicate with vendors, purchasing, and product development to update forms, track progress, follow up, and maintain all related documentation.  May send samples for testing, review, and release. Participate in external and internal audits (may lead as necessary). Develop and conduct quality, food safety, and regulatory training as needed. Work cross-functionally with other members in the event of a recall or market withdrawal activities. Support inline/process quality checks and testing. In the absence of this position, the Quality Manager serves as a backup. Skills & Qualifications:  BS degree (Food Science/Food Technology/Nutrition preferred) or 4+ years food manufacturing with auditing/FSMA/Food Safety experience. Strong knowledge of and experience with Certificates of Analysis (COAs), Product Specification Sheets, Nutritional Panels, Letters of Guarantee, Kosher Certificates, Organic Certificates, GMO Free Certification, Storage Specifications, and New Vendor Surveys, GFSI certification and auditing. Knowledge of quality tools, quality trend reporting, and regulatory and compliance guidelines. Adept at working in a fast-paced organization that is growing and changing.  Organized and able to advance multiple projects at one time. Attentive to details and committed to accuracy, strong written communication and reporting. Motivated to seek answers through research. Proficient in using MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems.
