Class A or B Mobile Diesel Technician.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer’s site with company vehicle
  • Run diagnostic tests on heavy-duty diesel-powered vehicles
  • Repairs, maintenance and servicing large straight trucks, and busses, 
  • Analyze diagnostic test results
  • Test drive vehicles to gauge performance
  • Perform preventative maintenance 
  • Maintain detailed records of service vehicles

Qualifications:

  • One year experience in diesel engine repair
  • Advanced knowledge of diesel engine technology and components
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem solving
  • Proficiency in operating all types of vehicles, equipment, and tools
  • Able to work in a fast paced, demanding environment
  • Good interpersonal skills with Supervisors and Co-workers
  • Willing to obtain factory certifications 
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Class B CDL -preferred, not required

Physical Requirements: 

  • Standing, walking, lifting (often over 50lbs), and working in various positions like stooping, kneeling, and bending. 
  • Dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to use tools are also essential.
