What's the Role


The HR Manager serves as a strategic business partner responsible for aligning people initiatives with organizational goals while fostering a high-performance, engaged, and compliant workplace. This role leads all aspects of human resources for the facility, including employee relations, talent acquisition, workforce development, compliance, and HR analytics. The ideal candidate is a proactive, data-driven leader who builds strong relationships at every level of the organization, coaches and develops HR team members, and champions a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.


What You'll Own


• Partner with functional leaders to design and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals

• Analyze HR metrics such as turnover, engagement, and time-to-fill to guide decisions and demonstrate impact

• Lead the HR team in serving as a trusted, confidential resource for employee concerns and ideas

• Conduct post-hire, stay, and exit interviews, along with regular check-ins and roundtables, to gather insights and implement action plans

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and Georgia state employment laws, and provide consistent policy interpretation across the facility

• Oversee full-cycle recruiting to secure and retain a skilled manufacturing workforce, and coach and develops the team

• Assess skills gaps and coordinate training and development initiatives, including a performance review system that drives accountability

• Allocate HR resources strategically to support operational needs and broader business goals


Requirements

What You Bring


• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferred

• 5+ years of progressive HR management experience, ideally within manufacturing, food production, or distribution

• Demonstrated expertise in Georgia employment law, providing trusted guidance to leaders on compliance, risk management, and employment-related decision-making.

• Demonstrated experience leading full-cycle recruiting, employee relations, and workforce development programs

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate HR data into actionable business decisions

• Skilled at managing sensitive and complex employee interactions, delivering difficult messages with professionalism, and applying policies consistently and objectively in challenging situations

• Highly organized self-starter who drives initiatives forward, with strong follow-through on multiple priorities and competing deadlines

• Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
