About the Role:
Rossi is looking for an experienced Italian Sauté Cook to join our kitchen team in New Port Richey, FL! Responsibilities:
- Execute sauté station duties with speed, precision, and consistency during service
- Prepare and cook authentic Italian dishes including pasta, proteins, and sauces to order
- Maintain proper mise en place and station organization throughout shifts
- Follow recipes, plating standards, and portion control guidelines
- Collaborate with line cooks and kitchen staff to ensure smooth, timely service
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and temperature control standards
- Assist with prep work, inventory, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized
Requirements:
- Proven experience working a sauté station in a professional Italian or full-service restaurant kitchen
- Strong knowledge of Italian cooking techniques, sauces, and traditional dishes
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work nights, weekends, and holidays
