Position Summary:

The Matline Operator's Primary responsibility is packaging rolled material in boxes and palletizing. Some secondary responsibilities within the rotation are looking for imperfections in packaging as it goes down the production line and remove any bags that are not perfect, cutting open defective bags and placing them in our reprocessing bin, driving a forklift (training provided) and general housekeeping duties. You could be at times asked to work as a Bagger Operator which is part of a rotating position within the production plant. Responsibility is running the bagger which produces 60 lb. bales of Hydro Mulch, remove any bags that are not perfect, cutting open defective bales and placing them in our reprocessing bin, driving a forklift (training provided) and general housekeeping duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate bagger safely and efficiently
  • Maintain preset production goals.
  • Remove out-of-spec bags and hand stack for reprocessing.
  • Cut open rejected bales for reprocessing
  • Remove rolled product from the line and place in box for palletizing
  • Build boxes for packaging
  • Palletize product
  • Light Preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Operate forklift to load and store bags.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Able to obtain forklift certification (training provided)
