Summary of Performance Expectations:
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accurate preparation and maintenance of general ledger entries in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB) standards, and the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) guidelines. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, with a focus on continuous process improvement, efficiency, and maintaining strong internal controls.

The Staff Accountant will primarily support the financial accounting functions for physician clinics and foundation, working closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting. This role will also involve performing additional accounting duties as assigned.

Education & Credentials:
Required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business.

Work Experience:
Required
Four or more years work experience. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date.
