Position Summary: Responsible for gluing foam to fiber using a spray gun.

Position Responsibilities:

Use pneumatic equipment to apply glue to fiber and poly; Uniformly shape and glue poly to fiber with spray gun.
Complete other assigned duties as directed by supervisor.
Maintains neat and orderly work station; keeps equipment clean.
Wear required safety glasses and work shoes; works safely and reports unsafe conditions to Dept. Supervisor. Also performs required stretching exercises.
Performs other duties as required by supervisor.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Physical demands and work environment:

Lift / Carry: Must be able to lift/remove and flip over pieces for gluing.
Standing / Walking: Must be able to stand and walk consistently during the 8+ hour day.
Reach / Handle / Grasp/Feel: Repetitive use of hands required. Must be able to use pneumatic equipment.
Bend / Lift / Stoop: Gathering supplies throughout day from various heights.
Push/Pull: Must be able to push cases into designated work zones; or pull with designated tow tool.
Environment: Indoors, controlled airflow, no air conditioning.
Tool Usage: Required to use glue gun, spray gun, and other tools for entire shift.
Near Acuity: Requires close vision of less than 3 feet, with or without corrective lenses, for precision.
