Position Responsibilities: - Read tickets and/or job notes prior to prep to verify options.
- Transports cases to and from workstation.
- Disassembles cases, removes hardware.
- Inspects case for areas that need repair.
- Repair areas by using putty and putty knife to fill in cracks, holes and any imperfections.
- Sands cases using jitterbug sander, hand sander to smooth all areas of case, paying close attention to detail ensuring case if free of defects.
- Installs/Assembles door fronts on casegoods.
- Does the detailing of specific pieces that need it.
- Maintains neat and orderly workstation.
- Wears required safety glasses and foot wear; works safely and reports unsafe conditions to Dept. Supervisor
- Performs daily stretching exercises.
- Performs other duties as required by supervisor.

Essential Skills and Experience: - Must have ability to learn quickly.
- Understand correct placement of case parts.
- English required for reading tickets and instructions.
- Ability to identify scratches, dents and dings.
- Ability to use sandpaper, jitterbug sander, putty, epoxy, and hand tools.
 Physical demands and work environment: | - Lift / Carry: Frequently lifting 35 – 50 lbs. onto and off work station; occasionally lifting in excess of 50 lbs.; team lift greater weights. Must be able to lift/remove and flip over pieces for cartooning.
- Standing / Walking: Must be able to stand and walk consistently during the 8+ hour day.
- Reach / Handle / Grasp/Feel: Repetitive use of hands required. Must be able to use drills, screwdrivers, staple guns throughout the day.
- Bend / Lift / Stoop: Gathering supplies throughout day from various heights.
- Push/Pull: Must be able to push cases into designated work zones; or pull with designated tow tool.
- Environment:Â Indoors, controlled airflow, no air conditioning.
- Tool Usage: Required to use glue gun, staple gun, rubber mallet, hammer, screw driver, channel locks, adjustable wrenches, and other tools for entire shift.
