JOB TITLE:       Stock Room Clerk

FLSA STATUS:      Non-Exempt 

LOCATION: Conover 


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Open PO follow up, track and trace – assist as needed for all Buyers
  • Gather Parts information and create purchase order for Buyer to review and send to suppliers

Organize and maintain inventory and storage area for stockroom. Including but not limited to: 

    • Opening and maintenance of product on shelves
    • Removing and maintaining waste products 
  • Interface with co-workers to answer questions or solve problems 
  • Work in tandem with management and lead team members.
  • Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative processes while collaborating with Corporate Supply Chain Specialist 
  • Confer and coordinate activities with other departments when needed
  • Utilize PPE, maintain high level of safety, and communicate in a team environment
  • Any other task assigned by the supervisor

 

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Analytical abilities with attention to detail
  • Demonstrate decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, throughout all internal levels of the organization; effective communication with vendors and co- workers as necessary
  • High degree of initiative and motivation with ability to work in a matrix environment or within a cross functional team
  • Proven organizational and time management skills
  • Computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Excel and Word)
  • Demonstrate ability to multitask and respond to constantly changing demands and priorities
  • Both internal and external Customer Centric attitude 
  • Must be able to travel between plant locations
  • Ability to work full time
  • AS400 & Infinium knowledge
