Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

We are hiring a dependable and safety-focused Preventive Maintenance Technician for a growing manufacturing facility in Conover, NC. This role is responsible for supporting preventative maintenance activities, equipment inspections, lubrication, minor repairs, and maintenance documentation in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Ideal candidates will have mechanical experience, basic electrical knowledge, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
• Clean, inspect, and document machinery and components
• Verify oil levels and add oil when necessary
• Clean and lubricate chains
• Replace grease lines and broken air lines
• Grease bearings and replace filters
• Change belts, oil filters, and air filters
• Identify worn or damaged components
• Identify and clean up oil leaks
• Remove and reinstall machine guards safely
• Maintain accurate inspection and maintenance records using a tablet
• Create work orders (WO’s) for needed repairs
• Follow maintenance checklists and safety procedures

Required Qualifications

• Mechanical training or hands-on mechanical experience
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Safety training or industrial safety experience
• Ability to use tablets or electronic systems for documentation
• Strong attention to detail and reliability

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical training or troubleshooting experience
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance
• LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) training or experience
