Principal Scope and Duties:
Loadscan has been selling in the US through a distribution for 7+ years and is now opened aĀ
new USA subsidiary. The primary purpose of the US subsidiary is to build customerĀ
relationships, develop sales and provide customer service and support to the North
American customer base.
This is a significant sales position within the company and will involve working with theĀ
internal team, other managers, and outside contractors to increase sales opportunities andĀ
maximise revenue for the business. To achieve this the Business Development and SalesĀ
Specialist will need to understand market share, find and gain access to potential newĀ
customers, present to them, ultimately convert them to clients and continue to growĀ
business in the future.
While the exact responsibilities will vary, the main duties include, but are not limited to:
ā¢ Contribute to the development of the company strategy as it relates to
abovementioned industries and carry out sales and marketing activity planning andĀ
deployment accordingly.
ā¢ Research relevant industry organisations in target markets and identify potentialĀ
clients and the appropriate contact persons and decision makers within the clientĀ
organisation.
ā¢ Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop sales andĀ
business development opportunities.
ā¢ Work with the broader team to develop relevant Texas marketing and salesĀ
collateral.
ā¢ Prospect for and develop professional relationships with potential new clients toĀ
enable the presentation and sale of Loadscan products.
ā¢ Foster and maintain strong professional relationships with existing customers toĀ
maximise the sale of existing products, as well as new products and services thatĀ
Loadscan may develop or distribute.Ā

ā¢ Organise sales trips and other planned activities to make the most efficient use ofĀ
Loadscan resources to set up sales meetings (and product demonstrations asĀ
necessary) with the key decision-makers and influencers within targeted businessesĀ
that have good potential to purchase Loadscan products.
ā¢ Plan approaches and pitches; work with the team to develop key value propositionsĀ
that speak to the clientās needs, concerns and objectives.
ā¢ Work with the Managing Director, Sales and MKT Leads, LLC VP and HR PortfolioĀ
Lead to determine market feasibility and resources required to support marketĀ
entry.
ā¢ Work collaboratively with Loadscanās technical, production and support staff (andĀ
any other internal colleagues as necessary) to ensure customer needs are met andĀ
that products and services are delivered in accordance with customer expectations.
ā¢ Respond to prospects enquiries and RFPs. Carefully investigate customer needs andĀ
the situational requirements of sales projects/installations. Generate quotes andĀ
prepare written proposals that deliver on customer requirements whilst meetingĀ
Loadscanās business objectives. Negotiate agreements and contracts with salesĀ
prospects.
ā¢ Attend industry functions and trade events and provide feedback and information toĀ
Loadscan about markets and trends.
ā¢ Analyse and measure results of your initiatives with the view to continually improve.
ā¢ Submit progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
ā¢ Forecast sales targets.
ā¢ Continually add new customers and prospects to the Loadscan industryĀ
database/CRM.
ā¢ Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
Professional Development:
ā¢ Assume responsibility for personal and professional/work education andĀ
development.
ā¢ Maintain and/or extend knowledge and skill base required for effectiveĀ
performance.
ā¢ Identify any learning needs.
ā¢ Negotiate with Sales Lead to attend appropriate education and training.

ā¢ Strong commercial acumen and selling skills. Able to sell to senior management.
ā¢ Experience in technology sales and reasonable level of IT knowledge
ā¢ Organised and structured approach to work planning.
ā¢ Corporate presentation and strong presentation skills.
ā¢ Able to manage conflict and competing tensions.
ā¢ Ability to build rapport.
