American Millworks is seeking dependable shop helpers to support our production team in a fast-paced, high-end millwork environment. This role is critical to keeping the shop running efficiently and maintaining the quality standards our projects require.
American Millworks is seeking dependable shop helpers to support our production team in a fast-paced, high-end millwork environment. This role is critical to keeping the shop running efficiently and maintaining the quality standards our projects require.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist craftsmen with material handling, assembly support, and general shop tasks
- Move and stage materials throughout the shop safely and efficiently
- Help with packaging and preparing millwork for delivery
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support cutting, sanding, and prep work as directed
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
Qualifications:
- Prior shop, warehouse, or construction experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and be on your feet throughout the day
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Attention to detail and respect for quality craftsmanship
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience in a millwork or cabinet shop
- Familiarity with basic tools and equipment
- Forklift experience
