Position Summary:

Supervises the activities of the Food & Beverage department, under the direction of the manager, as subject to established company policies and local, state, and federal regulations. 



Essential Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding guest service to internal and external guests, demonstrating the company’s #AddLife culture in all interactions.
  • Provide guest service training and departmental orientation for new team members.
  • Assist the manager in delivering ongoing training and development for all employees.
  • Ensure the dining room and service areas are properly set up and ready for operation.
  • Oversee side work responsibilities, opening procedures, and closing duties.
  • Coordinate with other Food & Beverage Supervisors and Managers regarding scheduling, ordering, and par levels.
  • Assist with setting up and breakdown for private events and special functions.
  • Foster a supportive, motivating environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with company policy and state regulations.
  • Assist the manager in reviewing departmental activities to evaluate staffing levels, working conditions, and opportunities to improve service quality and profitability.
  • Monitor the work of team members to ensure performance meets established standards.
  • Resolve issues within the scope of authority and escalate matters beyond that scope to management with recommended solutions.
  • Oversee daily departmental operations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Position Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or leadership training preferred.
  • Strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and reviewing financial information.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and support a diverse team.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and assist with service duties for extended periods.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older in accordance with New Hampshire alcohol and gaming regulations.


Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift) while overseeing operations across dining, bar, and service areas.
  • Frequent walking, bending, reaching, twisting, and stooping while supervising staff, assisting with service, and ensuring operational readiness.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 40 pounds regularly (e.g., trays, supplies, cases of product) and occasionally more with assistance.
  • Manual dexterity required to assist with service tasks, handle equipment, and operate POS systems when needed.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions such as lifting, carrying, and assisting with setup and breakdown of service areas and events.
  • Capability to respond quickly to operational needs in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining situational awareness.
  • Ability to safely navigate crowded dining rooms, bar areas, and casino floor environments.
  • Tolerance for working in environments with:
    • Moderate to loud noise levels
    • Dim lighting and flashing lights
    • Exposure to secondhand smoke (where permitted)
  • Ability to work in areas with potential spills, wet floors, and exposure to cleaning chemicals.
  • Visual ability to monitor staff performance, read reports, schedules, and POS screens; and hearing ability to communicate effectively in a noisy environment.
