Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our Myrtle Beach-based team. In this full-time role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and specialized equipment used in hydrodemolition and concrete cutting operations. This is a great opportunity for a dependable and career-minded technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow with a company that values integrity, preparation, and purpose.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, hydraulic systems, braking systems, suspensions, electrical components, and other mechanical systems on Class 6–8 vehicles and heavy equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and detailed troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair needs with team leads and supervisors.
  • Collaborate with other shop personnel and operators to prioritize repairs and support active job sites.
  • Travel occasionally to perform on-site repairs or maintenance as needed.
  • Maintain shop organization, cleanliness, and safety procedures at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience as a diesel technician in a fleet, construction, or heavy equipment setting.
  • Experience working with concrete cutting equipment preferred but not required! Time spent working in a rental fleet, small engine repair, or agricultural equipment maintenance type environment translates well into this position due to the varied types of equipment we utilize. 
  • Proven experience working on Class 6–8 trucks (preferred).
  • Must have own set of mechanic hand tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive DOT-regulated vehicles.
  • CDL is a plus.
  • Must be able to complete a DOT physical and obtain a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50+ lbs, crawling under vehicles, and working in various positions.
  • Weekend availability and overtime as needed.

Job Type:
