This is a remote position. Candidates must reside in the Middle Tennessee area.聽 EXEMPLARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: This job specification should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standard of the position. Incumbents will follow any other instructions, and perform any other related duties, as may be required by their supervisor. Agrees to follow all applicable laws and regulations, including VBHCS Standards of Conduct and VBHCS Policies and Procedures, in order to create and maintain a healthcare and business environment that is committed to integrity and ethical conduct. This position requires the employee to be licensed for at least 3 years, completed all training and certification for supervision. Must retain this certification while employed in this position. General Characteristics of Duties: Provide clinical services to a population of outpatient adults, children and adolescents. Provide intervention, assessment/intake, treatment planning, triage, individual therapy, group therapy, and/or play therapy, as necessary. Clinicians will ensure that all documentation necessary to meet contract, licensure, and appropriate behavioral health organization requirements pertaining to these services will be completed in a timely manner per VBHCS standards. Employee is expected to meet the productivity standards as outlined by VBHCS, based on the number of hours worked per month. Clinical services will include individual therapy, intakes, assessments, such as DLA 20, Columbia Suicide Assessment and PHQ9, discharge planning, treatment planning, appropriate referral to internal/external services and support systems, and staffing of consumers. Treatment population will be adults, children and youth and their family system. Liaison and/or consultation with other service providers and referral sources necessary to achieve treatment goals will be required. This may include; court, schools, foster homes, relatives, case managers, and/or state agencies. Clinical Supervisor Duties: Unlicensed Staff: 路 Provide Clinical Supervision for unlicensed staff serving clients in the outpatient setting. Perform 1 hour per month of direct supervision 1:1 with unlicensed staff. Supervision may be performed via video telehealth or in person. Responsible for any documentation of signature. Responsible for documenting supervision in a timely manner. Audit/Review 3 charts monthly for each supervisee. Licensed Staff: Provide Clinical Supervision for licensed staff in the outpatient setting. Supervision may be performed via video telehealth or in person Responsible for documenting supervision in a timely manner. Duties include, but are not limited to: Liaison and/or consultation with other service providers and referral sources necessary to achieve treatment goals will be required. This may include: court, schools, foster homes, relatives, case managers, and/or state agencies. Perform additional supervision as indicated by chart review, peer and billing review, and other external audits. Communicates regularly with Sr. Clinical Director, Clinical Director and Chief Operating Officer with strengths for VBH and any oversight concerns. Prepare monthly report to SVP of Specialized Grants and Services, Clinical Director, Chief Operating Officer, and VP of Compliance. Participates in VBH leadership, QI meetings/ and VBH technical advisory groups as assigned. Participates in community and programmatic meetings and trainings as requested. Other duties as assigned. QualificationsEDUCATION: Must have Master鈥檚 Degree in Behavioral Health field and be licensed. Experience in outpatient therapy with various populations. Current active licensure with the State of Tennessee. Specialized training in counseling and psychotherapy. Familiar in models such as Brief Cognitive Therapy, EMDR, Brief Solution Focused, Play Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and group therapy.
