SUMMARY

This position requires solid computer skills and the ability to multitask with simultaneously running processes.

Automated Band Saw Operator, Weld Ring Roller, Electrode Grinding, Fixture and Heat Treat Assembly/Disassembly, Heat Treat Operator, Oxidize Operator, Forklift operator

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Operate and troubleshoot issues as they arise with the heat-treat operation.
Operate a tape measure and computer interfaces.
Optimize work schedule to maximize uptime for heat treat.
Operate and effectively use heat treat software.
Must communicate effectively with other shifts to ensure heat treat runs smoothly and mistakes are avoided.
Work with the machining and scheduling department to prioritize operations.
Operate and effectively use the band saw software.
Operate and effectively use a manual lathe to roll copper and steel weld rings.
Must work very closely with the team leader and co-workers.
Must assist other operators and support production needs as required.
Thrive on challenges.
Be able to work in a fast-paced, ever changing, environment.
Always be willing to work overtime as required.

Maintain an organized and orderly work area.

Perform other duties assigned by Team Leader/Manager.
