Immediate Warehouse CDL Driver Opportunity
Warehouse - Days (1pm to 9:30pm)
Salary Compensation: $25.50 per hour ($24 base pay + $1.50 shift differential)

Job Summary:
The Material Handler – With CDL position is responsible for a variety of different warehouse duties. He or she will be responsible for transporting materials between multiple warehouses to fulfill production requirements. Material Handlers must have high attention to detail and pick items at a fast pace in order to meet their key performance indicators safely and accurately. He or she also supports functions in shipping, receiving and inventory control.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Accurately and efficiently pull materials for transfer requests.
  • Move transfer trucks between warehouses safely.
  • Perform deliveries and off-site pickups.
  • Maintain daily tractor and trailer inspection logs.
  • Operate forklifts to move, pull, load and unload materials.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse.
  • Assist Inventory Control with performing cycle counts.
  • Use handheld scanning devices and inventory management system daily.
  • Complete all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must be hard working and able to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Must be punctual and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work individually and with a team.
  • Must be able to perform physical requirements of the position including walking, standing, stooping and climbing.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without restriction, using proper safety methods.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Computer literacy required; must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and the Internet.
  • Demonstrated ability in basic mathematics.
  • Must be extremely detail oriented.
  • Must be able to work in a facility that handles allergens including, but not limited to: wheat, soy, egg, milk, celery and mustard.
  • Ability to work in open environments, exposed to pungent odors and varying climates.
 
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior CDL or material handing experience preferred.
 
Additional Requirements:
  • Valid CDL – Class A.
  • Excellent driving record.
